4. RATIONALE FOR THE PROGRAM COURSES OFFERED This course requires students to memorize Surah Al-Baqara from verse 1 to verse 93. It is offered to students for Semester 1 to strengthen the practice of Al-Quran in life. In addition, this course into the field for the students to use the texts of the Qur’an that have been memorized to produce ideas and argued. As a result, students will be able to contribute in the public service with reference to the Qur’an as a source of knowledge to be applied throughout life.

9. COURSE OBJECTIVES
  1. To help students memorize Surah Al-Baqara from verse 1 to verse 93 in accordance with the laws and rules of recitation Rasm Uthmani.
  2. The right to recite before memorized by the students.
  3. To understand the meaning of the Quran and read it with bertajwid.
  4. To listen and correct reading of the verses memorized by the students in groups and in front of the lecturer.
10. LEARNING OUTCOMES At the end of this course, students should be able to:

  1. Identifying the correct reading before and after memorizing and understanding kandungganya. (LO1).
  2. Apply the verses memorized when removing the idea and argued. (LO4-CS1).
  3. Interacting with the community through the use of Quranic verses. (LO5-TS2).
11. FORMATION OF SKILLS Students should be able to memorize the verses that have been set with the correct reading according to the law and rules Rasm Uthmani through tutorials and group work movement.
12. TEACHING AND LEARNING STRATEGY ASSESSMENT Teaching and Learning Strategies:

  • This course will be taught through tutorials that involve listening to and reciting and memorizing in groups in front of the lecturer.
  • Students will be assessed through reading, memorizing that was played in front of a lecturer in tutorial classes per week. It will also be assessed through a written exam at the end of the semester.
