This course discusses the historical development and the role of public speaking speech mainly as a channel of communication in public. Coverage includes the history of mankind including speech and public speaking since pre-Islamic until now. Methods and means of an effective public speaking will be studied as a means of preaching. Emphasis is given to the techniques and procedures for delivery of Khutbah (religious sermon) in connection with the implementation of worship and skills as Imām and Dā ͨI (preacher). In addition, there will be a training to improve themselves in the field of speech and debate as well as the delivery of Khutbah (religious sermons). This training will be organized to all who follow this course in order to produce a skilled preacher who can communicate in front of an audience to convey the message effectively.
